Wall Paper Removal
Wallpaper removal is a messy job no matter how you do it. But if you want to get rid of old wallpaper, you really have no choice but to strip it. While it may be a bit of a hassle, it's well worth the effort when the result is a fresh new wall to decorate.

To make stripping wallpaper an easier chore, rent an electric wallpaper stripper. The only additional tool needed is a wide manual putty knife or stripping tool.

Tips for use

Start with Hot tap water in the machine. Do not use an extension cord. Power loss over the length of an extension cord will result in never getting steam. Once the temperature of the water reaches boiling steam will appear. Hold the steam pan on the wall at a leading edge of the paper for a few seconds.
Once the glue has softened, move the pan to the next edge while using the scraper knife to begin peeling the paper back.
Repeat this process over the entire surface until job is completed. Note Once the steam cools down, it will return to water state so put towels along the floor if you do not want to have puddles on your floor.For waterproof wallpapers such as those installed in a bathroom or kitchen, you can rent a perforating roller to perforate the paper allowing steam to soften the glue easier
